Tarragona is located 100 km south of Barcelona and was the ancient Roman capital of the Imperial Tarraco. Much of its current historical heritage dates back to the 1st and 2nd centuries, a period of maximum splendour. We will enjoy a Roman route where we can learn about the history of Tarragona through the main monuments preserved from that period, the amphitheatre, the circus, the cathedral and the king’s square will be visited. Tarragona was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
